ConnectCPA has been named to The Globe and Mail's Report on Business ranking of Canada's Top Growing Companies for 2026. It is the seventh consecutive year the Toronto-based accounting firm has made the list, with a placement every year from 2020 through 2026.
The 2026 ranking is published online and in the print edition of Report on Business magazine, distributed to Globe and Mail subscribers on September 26, 2026.
What is Canada's Top Growing Companies ranking?
Canada's Top Growing Companies is an annual ranking by The Globe and Mail's Report on Business magazine. It ranks Canadian companies by their revenue growth over a three-year period, which makes it one of the few national business rankings based on financial performance rather than reputation or peer votes.
The 2026 edition is the ranking's eighth year. Because each edition looks at three years of revenue, a single strong year is not enough to qualify. A company has to grow across the full period.
How many times has ConnectCPA been named one of Canada's Top Growing Companies?
Seven times, in consecutive years from 2020 to 2026. ConnectCPA has appeared on every edition of the ranking except the first.
Each edition measures a different three-year window, so seven consecutive placements together cover close to a decade of revenue performance. That period included the pandemic, a sharp rise in interest rates and a stretch of high inflation, all of which changed how Canadian businesses spent, hired and planned. Staying on the list through all of it reflects growth that held up across very different conditions, not a single strong run.
Who does ConnectCPA work with?
ConnectCPA works with growing businesses and nonprofits across Canada and the US, many of them going through growth of their own. Growth puts pressure on a finance function in predictable ways: transaction volume climbs, spreadsheets stop keeping up, new provinces or US states bring new sales tax obligations, payroll gets more complex, and lenders and investors start asking for better reporting.
That is the work ConnectCPA is built around. The firm's services include cloud accounting, online bookkeeping, tax, payroll, controllership, AP and payments, invoicing and receivables, and technology system design, so a growing business can keep its finance function in step with the rest of the company.
